Rosewater Brightening Fights the Sad Thoughts

We're making another film! It's called Rosewater Brightening Fights the Sad Thoughts. It's a colorful little untidy war flick, about a short string of imaginary battles against sadness. It was written in a day, for Nevada County Media's 2019 Thru the Lens script-to-screen film festival, and it'll be shown at the Del Oro on September 30th, which is pretty cool.



At the moment, it's happily marching into post production, and by the time it's edited into shape, it'll be ten minutes long, and packed with dust and pinecone violence and friendship and synthesized balalaika music. It's very green and loud and saturated, and it's been lots of fun to make.

(Though it took a few days to get the dust out of us.)
