Student Film Festival at Sierra College

There's a film screening at Sierra College on November 21!

The Associated Students of Sierra College put it together. (I'm contractually obligated to say they're pretty cool.) It's in the big multipurpose room and will be shot through a projector and everything.

Isaac and I had a class about novels transitioning to film in there. We talked about Moby Dick in there. I love Moby Dick. I've only sort of read Moby Dick, but I love it anyway, partially because of the big ol' multipurpose room.

If you haven't read Moby Dick -- it's got a lot about whales. No, like a surprising amount. Even for a book about a whale. It doesn't help if anyone warns you. It's still a surprising amount.

Oh, yeah! It's films we made! The Kommissar will be there. And Rosewater Brightening Fights the Sad Thoughts. And Maya and the Walking Man's Lamp. And Welcome To Valhalla, which will only have premiered four days before then. (It premieres November 16th at the Colfax Theatre!)

A Defining Moment is a film Isaac wrote from before Tea & Cordite existed.
It's a 'lil sci-fi thriller in spooky blue colors.
